Growing up on Long Island, my life was rooted in family, food and hospitality. While attending university in the great city of Boston, I entered the world of fine dining. Fed, quite literally, by the best chefs in the city, I developed a love of wine as I was introduced to wines of the world. My interest and knowledge deepened through an opportunity to live in Spain and to travel and study wines in France and Italy as well. Domestically, I also travelled to various wine regions including California and Oregon.
Sipping my way along, I became the Wine Director of an award winning restaurant in Cambridge, MA and then earned my Sommelier certification. Later, I returned to my New York roots and further developed my skills at top NYC restaurants.
I currently reside in Ridgefield, CT with my husband and two children. With a passion for sustainable and natural wines that respect both our body and planet, I also enjoy supporting small growers who have a deep appreciation of their craft and the Earth. I love to share my love of wine with all levels of wine enthusiasts. From novice to connoisseur- wine can be enjoyed by all- Cheers!
